Services
With a background at leading art institutions and in the technology industry, I encourage innovation by taking an iterative approach and drawing inspiration from cross-disciplinary practices. I have a strong track record of building trust with a wide range of stakeholders, and always keep the intended users and communities at the center of projects. My work is focused on making information and creative practices both accessible and inspiring.
I partner with museums, cultural organizations, tech companies, universities, local associations, and more, ranging from large, established institutions to those just starting out. Here are some ways I can support your organization, using both in-person and online tools to meet your goals.
-
Your audience shares common interests, challenges, and goals. By helping them connect, learn from each other, and take on meaningful roles, you can foster a peer-to-peer community that helps people find belonging and inspiration. Alongside furthering the mission, community can also be your business strength, building customer loyalty and driving revenue.
If you’re interested in working with me to build community among your audience, we’ll:
identify shared interests and opportunities among your current and intended community;
design gatherings to bring community members together, both in-person and online;
cultivate and support community leaders;
celebrate the community and acknowledge community members’ contributions;
help community members stay connected in meaningful and useful ways;
and grow your community.
I work with intimate, small-format groups; large-scale communities; local and global communities; and new groups as well as existing groups that are encountering challenges. In designing your community strategy, we’ll prioritize approaches that will help your team continue this work sustainably.

Great learning experiences take many forms: courses, newsletters, articles, podcasts, videos, workshops, travel, and other forms of programs and gatherings. I’ll work with you to design lifelong learning experiences that inspire and challenge adult audiences. We’ll draw on instructional design and pedagogical practices to help you make strategic choices about format, length, structure, participation, and assessment, when relevant. We’ll create opportunities for participants to build relationships and bring their own knowledge and skills to bear, in ways that make the experience resonant, valuable, and enjoyable.

I help organizations tell compelling and clear stories through writing and editing, and in collaboration with film and audio teams. I leverage audience insights to shape online content for newsletters, websites, and learning platforms, and in-person content such as audio tours, interpretive media, and exhibition texts.
-
Make gathering worth your attendees’ time. We’ll work together to design your in-person and online gatherings in response to a clear purpose, and ensure that each element—such as space and format, structure and activities, community/ies you’re welcoming, and content—support the goals of your organization and community.
-
Build ongoing, stronger relationships with your audience across multiple platforms. Through interviews, analytics, and comparative studies, we’ll develop an understanding of their journey in relation to your organization and identify opportunities for deeper engagement.
