Museums as Progress is a learning community for professionals in cultural organizations. As a collaborator with MaP since 2022, I’ve designed and led a reading club around Susie Wise’s book Design for Belonging: How to Build Inclusion and Collaboration in Your Communities, led an online conversation about the documentary Join or Die and community building in museums, have researched and led programs about how virtual programs expanded community participation, and am currently working with MaP to evaluate its learning initiatives and identify opportunities for deeper participant engagement.
